Hi! I'm Sarah. I'm a director, writer, actress and TV Hobbyist. My day job(s) include directing and writing commercials, working on set in various capacities (1AD/2AD/Production Manager) and trying to get my 6 year old to put on his shoes and getting my toddler to put on her pants. My kids don’t like to be clothed.
I'm focused on details. Characters are king. Everything I places on screen is with intention and purpose. And above all, I believe in ‘yes, and’ on set.

My art is an extension of my career as a graphic artist and designer. Going back to my creative roots as a child, paper has been my muse and is at the very heart of my artistic exploration. My favorite part of modular origami is mixing patterns and colors and pushing the boundaries of traditional paper art by using a 2-dimensional medium to create 3-dimensional objects.
Creating art is a form of mediation for me and also a process for expressing joy. When I am creating, whatever the medium, I am my truest self and I explore other mediums to expand my perspective and feed my passion for innovation.

Christine Irving’s poetry explores the diverse complexities of human life, the way other animals live and takes occasional jaunts through the cosmos. She often includes eclectic touches of symbolism, history, or myth in both her poetry and prose. Believing we live in a web of connections, Christine’s poems seek out these joins, signaling their presence lest we forget our existence depends on mutual survival. You can find her books on Amazon.

"Hi, I am Aileen Khuu and I am a multidisciplinary artist! My work typically involves paintings and sculptures that draw attention to the mundane. Most recently, I have begun working with paper mache clay to find a more economically and environmentally friendly medium for my work. I love getting to experiment and learn about different forms of visual and performance arts to gain a better appreciation of them."

I am retired from a 45-year career as a librarian in the school and public sector. With my husband I have lived in Denton since 1990. My crafting started years ago and I have not slowed down much since retirement.
My yarn mania involves chiefly crochet - hats, bags, quirky afghans and scarves - many of which I end up donating where they are needed. However, I have also embraced other fiber crafts; I enjoy creating miniature yarn vignettes suggesting beach and seashore life (I grew up along Long Island Sound), using found items and recycled materials. I also enjoy cross-stitching when sore fingers permit!
As a new member of the Artists’ Enclave, I look forward to making acquaintances and finding ways to share craft information - and perhaps learn a new craft as well.

My primary mediums are watercolor painting and pen and marker drawings.
I am a graphic designer. My art forms include art quilts, dichroic glass, and whatever else catches my fancy. I have trade printer contacts if you ever need to have things printed on paper.

My creative journey is centered around exploring the transformative power of verbal and visual arts. I like to challenge myself by pushing my limits into new dimensions and domains. Working across various disciplines, my creative expressions have found a niche in the magical world of word, color and music. And it is in these different realms that I find my creative endeavors navigating between the two primordial aspects of existence, viz., order and chaos. My inspiration comes from everyday encounters with people, objects and environment, and my motivation is a continued urge to connect with them.

My work is about exploring authentic shapes and texture, designing a surface that has a history and narrative. I enjoy the juxtaposition of natural shapes and hard edged geometric ones. I love combining found objects/ephemera with paint to create a rich textural surface story. My motto is, "Seek beauty, seek truth". I hope the viewer connects with my work and finds their own beauty, their own truth, their own story.

I am a local artist, living in Denton with my wife of 23 years and our daughters. I have worked with many different mediums over the years, but clay is my favorite. However, I still do graphite drawings, sculptures, and the occasional painting. I am a high school art educator of 20+ years. I teach a basic art class, Ceramics, Sculpture, and AP Art History. Art is a part of everything I do. It is my worship. I believe doing what Jesus created us to do is worship, and art brings me nearer to my God.
For many of the people I have photographed, the experience has been about affirming a positive self-image, celebrating beauty, overcoming inhibitions, gaining confidence, and contributing to the creativity of an artistic project. It is also important that the session be fun and relaxed. As the photographer, I highly value what the other person brings to the session and appreciate their individuality and unique creative contributions to the final images.
