Artists Enclave of Denton County
CALL FOR ENTRIES
August 1-29, 2025
UNT CoLab in Denton, Texas
Opening Reception: Friday, August 1st, 6pm
Artists Enclave’s Tierra Verde Juried Exhibition asks the question, “What do you advocate for, or express resistance to, through your art?”
Delve into the intersection of art and activism. whether your focus is the environment, education, human rights, or other causes. The subject matter is as vast as our Tierra Verde, waiting to be explored by you.
“Tierra,” means the land beneath our feet, upon which we gather in joyous celebrations or march carrying protest signs. “Verde,” is green, the color of new plant life or human envy.
Tierra Verde invites you to submit your best works of advocacy and resistance.
