The Tierra Verde Juried Exhibition

  • UNT CoLab 207 North Elm Street Denton, TX, 76201 United States (map)

Artists Enclave proudly presents the Tierra Verde Exhibition juried by artist, activist and art historian Jennifer Epperson.

The Exhibition poses the question: “What do you advocate for or express resistance to, through your art?” “Tierra,” means the land beneath our feet, upon which we gather in joyous celebrations or march carrying protest signs. “Verde,” is green, the color of new plant life or human envy.

Delve into the intersection of art and activism - whether your interest is in the environment, education, human rights, or other causes.  The subject matter is as vast as our Tierra Verde, waiting to be explored by you.
